Below is an email from Aura-Soma Products Limited UK advising us of the upcoming price rises. Also our update follows at the bottom. Received 10 March 2023 As we mentioned in my communications in December 2021, 1st April 2023 will see the annual price inflation adjustment for Aura-Soma products.
We are doing all we can to mitigate the huge rises in energy costs we face, both directly (we use as much solar as is possible in the UK to power our production & Farm), and indirectly, by forward planning with our partners as far as we possibly can.
Inflation is a rapidly moving figure, which is why we have been watching this closely, to get as accurate figure as we can for the annual adjustment
With that in mind, the average national inflation figure we have since the last price rise in March 2022 is 11%, which is what we will use to amend the prices. This is an average - unfortunately for us, most of our costs have risen well above this level, especially our core costs such as glass, Pomander and Quintessence bottles, the essential oils and vegetable squalene. Our staff also need to deal with the effects of inflation, so we need to take care of them also.
Rest assured, we are doing all we can to mitigate the effects of the inflationary impacts on the business, as we do all we can to make the vision of Aura-Soma as available as possible.
As I mentioned on the global meditation recently, we are looking to make Practitioner updates more accessible via the internet, and as well as redefining our website to be more customer responsive. We are also looking at live streaming events such as the “I Am” so as many people as possible can participate, rather than being limited by the numbers of attendees possible at Dev Aura.
I am grateful for you, and all you do to make Aura-Soma visible and available. 2023 is certainly a year that Aura-Soma is required to be present, as we see more and more people waking up to their reality, and seeking something more nurturing.

If you've trained in Aura-Soma, you may have received an email from Aura-Soma or The Academy about an upcoming 11% price increase effective from April 1, 2023, due to inflationary pressures on ingredients and packaging in the UK. I must admit that the percentage increase came as a shock, especially given the drop in the value of the New Zealand dollar. It would have been easy to react immediately and raise our prices to cover these increases. However, I've taken some time to think things over. I strongly believe that Aura-Soma is needed more now than ever in New Zealand, especially during these trying times of post-COVID and unpredictable weather events. I want Aura-Soma to remain accessible to as many people as possible. Therefore, I've decided to absorb this round of price increases for the time being. In June, I'll review our pricing again, and I'm optimistic that we'll find a solution that balances affordability with our commitment to providing you with high-quality Aura-Soma products.
